Making wine, yogurt, and coconut milk soap
Description
I'm participating in a soap challenge club. This month's challenge is to make a soap where I have to use one edible ingredient and one drinkable ingredient.
I also have to use natural colors and ingredients.
So this is me working out that soap.
Each layer is scented differently with essential oils: the wine layer has lemongrass and patchouli. The yogurt layer has lavender. The coconut milk layer has grapefruit and orange.
I separate each layer with a pencil line of natural color: Moroccan Clay between layers one and two, and cocoa powder between layers two and three.
I don't add any additional color. What you see is the natural caramelization from the Danielson process. Each ingredient creates a lighter version of caramel though.
