Himalayan Wine (Chhyang) || हिमाली छ्याङ (जाँड) || Himalayan Drinks
Himalayan Wine (Chhyang) is prepared from the food grains such as; wheat, barley, millet, rice, corn etc. First, these grains has to be dried under the sunlight, then it has to be cooked in big vessel with heating over the firewood. Then it is fermented by adding yeast for three to four days and has to be transferred into plastic tank or pottery tank, then has to leave 2 to 3 months. After 2 to 3 months its ready to drink by filtering process.
